How Roll Quality Inspection Works

1. Capture: High-resolution cameras inspect the finished roll surface, roll ends, and roll wrapping.
2. Classify: Procemex neural networks classify visual defects in real time.
3. Decide: The system alerts fail or pass based on the preset criteria.
4. Document: Images, defect class, and timestamp are stored with the roll ID.

• For every roll, detection data is stored together with an ‘as-shipped’ quality report and image record.
