• ensures the wrap is free of defects that could result in
  • damage to the roll
  • safety hazards in handling
• provides traceability and error reporting by reading attached labels
• provides an automatic “as shipped” quality report and image record for each roll 
• Roll wrapping and headers are analyzed by cameras for defects, such as torn wrapping
• In case of critical defects, cameras will trigger an output to wrapping line control system
• Images of the rolls are saved
