Project Manager

Qualifications:

  • BS in relevant engineering field (paper science, chemical, materials science) AND minimum of 5 years Project Management experience
  • Pulp and paper experience or machine vision experience a plus

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Ability to manage Capital Projects from an electrical and mechanical perspective
  • Proficiency with MS Office / Projects (Gantt charts)
  • Demonstrated capability to manage project from sales campaign through install and implementation
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple ongoing projects at various phases of execution
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and fluency in English required
  • Ability to perform tasks in noisy / enclosed settings as needed; ability to lift heavy material as needed  
  • A background check is mandatory and drug testing may be required for access to certain customer sites

Responsibilities:

  • Manage projects through life cycle – initial sales call through project commissioning
  • Sales campaign support; conduct and manage Field Trials and demonstrations
  • Administer entire scope of contract to ensure compliance and customer satisfaction
  • Apprise management of ongoing project and site status, needs, and news via regular and effective communication
  • Provide ongoing support to customers as needed regarding service, training, and any necessary repairs either onsite or via web application
  • Obtain and maintain knowledge of pulp and paper industry trends and needs

NOTE: This mid-level position reports to Procemex Inc. headquarters in Greenville, SC. Travel within the USA and Canada will be necessary approximately 75% of the time. Residence in SC is not required, and relocation is not available for this position.
